Jacqui is a compassionate and dedicated psychologist, who supports adolescents and adults to explore and develop strategies to improve mental health, develop adaptive coping
mechanisms and increase personal wellbeing. Clients are encouraged to tap into their strengths, personal values and self-compassion to increase their adaptive coping strategies,
understanding of self.
Jacqui works with the whole person and utilises a client-centred approach. Attention and consideration is given to the psychological impact of chronic medical conditions, physical
health issues, and the impacts on women’s physical and mental health across the lifespan - from puberty and adolescence, parenting, menopause and post-menopause and healthy aging.
More specifically Jacqui assists with reduction of symptoms associated with Anxiety Disorders, Depression, Stress, Trauma & PTSD, Chronic Disease Management and Health
Issues, Relationship difficulties, Grief and Loss, and challenges related to Autism Spectrum Condition and ADHD. Jacqui uses psychoeducation and the following evidence-based
therapies:
• Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)
• Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
• Schema-focussed CBT
• EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing)
• Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT)
• Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
• Positive Psychology
Appointments can be made with Jacqui on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
Jacqui’s qualifications include a BAppSc, BSocSc (Honours Psychology), Masters Clinical Psychology and Clinical Psychology Registrar program. Jacqui is registered with AHPRA, and provides services through Medicare and SIRA (Workers Compensation). She is a member of
Australian Psychology Association and Australian Association of Psychologists Inc.
